Fentanyl is killing young adults at an alarming rate. 73% of teens haven’t heard that fentanyl is being cut into counterfeit pharmaceuticals. We needed to bring awareness to this drug epidemic with an unorthodox approach that would reach kids where they’re at in a real way. In partnership with Ad Council, Snap and Youtube we did what no other drug program in America has ever done—bring formerly incarcerated drug dealers into school. Our “Substitute Dealers” taught kids a whole new type of curriculum, which was then made into open-source lesson plans for any teacher to use in their school, in hopes we can all take part in educating kids about the lethal dangers of fentanyl. Because enough is enough.
